Glimpse The Elusive Luna!

There’s a preview of Season 5, Episode 15 out. Guess who we catch a glimpse of?

If you guessed ‘Luna’, then you’re probably right. That’s Stella’s elusive mom, right next to her!

Those who’ve been following the original Italian or Cinelume versions will know that technically, in continuity, Stella is the fairy of the sun and the moon. Her parents are actually separated. Her mother is mentioned a couple of times in the series, and we catch a glimpse of her in Stella’s nightmare in Season 1 Episode 7, but she’s never been featured as a character in the show.

That is, until now. I doubt this is going to be anything more than a minor appearance, maybe for just this episode and the next? The most I’m hoping for is some display of moon-based magic from Stella’s mother (I mean, that would be so cool). Well, at least we get to see her in an episode, at last.

By the way, remember how Nick retconned “Fairy of the Sun and the Moon” to “Fairy of the Shining Sun”? Wonder how they’ll deal with that. 😛

You can watch the episode preview below. Credits to BelieveInWinx for the upload.

PS = Does anyone other than me love Luna’s eyes? :3

  1. Luna can be briefly seenat end of the first movie standing with King Radius and Stella. She also appears in the Winx Club Comic series.

    • I’m aware that she’s featured in the comic series, but at the end of the first movie? Never noticed that! 😛

      • I will send you a few photos showing Queen Luna in Secret of the Lost Kingdom.

  2. I love Luna’s eyes too! And – oh, my god – doesn’t Stella look just like her mom!

Any thoughts?
